Making jewelry has always been my way of getting closer. I cannot live in the sea or walk among wild elephants, but I can study, observe, read, travel, dive. To understand a creature, designing a piece around it becomes its own inquiry - the questions I ask while I work are real: how does it move, how is it formed, what does its world feel like, what stories stem from its existence?

For me, jewelry is a research practice as much as a craft. It is how l follow my fascination into the places it leads - into science, into myth, into the long history of understanding the creatures we live alongside. Each piece is a small record of that looking - gold and gemstone holding what I have learned, and what I still want to know.
