BIG LIFE FOUNDATION

PRESERVING WILDLIFE HABITATS

Big Life Foundation is a non-profit conservation organization focused on preserving wildlife and habitats in the Amboseli-Tsavo-Kilimanjaro ecosystem in Kenya through community-based strategies.

Big Life has created a groundbreaking model for conservation employing the local Maasai community, both men and women as rangers, and in educational and administrative capacity to enhance local life and to protect over 1.6 million acres of biodiversity. Big Life is considered the gold standard for conservation efforts in the region.

Our founder, Temple St. Clair Carr, serves on the U.S. Board of Directors for Big Life Foundation, and 20% of proceeds from our Arcadian Animal Pendants are donated to support their work.
