THE STORY BRACELETS

The story bracelets weave together references from art, science, mythology, and travel, reflecting Temple’s fascination with the connections between cultures and ideas across time.

The Deer Bracelet draws on the decorative language of the Wiener Werkstätte, the influential Viennese design movement of the early 20th century, interwoven with Temple’s memories of the graceful deer roaming the gardens of the Buddhist temples at Sarnath, India.

The Garden Bracelet celebrates the fantastical world of Renaissance grotesque painting, seen in the elaborate decorations adorning the walls of the Uffizi in Florence. Derived from the Italian word grotta, meaning cave or grotto, this decorative tradition brings together mythological figures, imaginary creatures, and fanciful botanical forms.

The Sundial Bracelet draws on ancient celestial maps and the science of measuring time by the sun and navigating by the stars.

Each bracelet is an intricate composition of individually crafted elements, meticulously assembled one by one - a testament to the artistry, patience, and extraordinary craftsmanship behind these jewels.
